Pomoca Fat Lock

The Pomoca Fat Lock is a front skin attachment developed for wide freeride climbing skins. Its metal V-hook builds on the Click Lock design and adapts the attachment to the ski tip. It can be combined with the designated Pomoca buckles, Z-Hook and Stretcher for Click Lock. The key requirement is a compatible connection to the existing skin system.

Selection and use

Compare the shape of your ski tip and the existing attachment with the intended Fat Lock system. The hook must sit securely while the skin is aligned straight on the ski. Choose by the particular connection, even if other Pomoca attachments look similar. Follow the installation instructions when converting the system, then check tension together with the rear skin attachment. Inspect both skis before first use.

Care and checks

Remove ice and snow from contact points and keep the attachment clean. Regularly inspect the metal component and its connection to the skin for distortion, wear or looseness. Let the parts dry after touring. Replace damaged components with appropriate spare parts before the next tour. Also follow the care instructions for the climbing skins used with it.

In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
