The black Patagonia R1 Air Vest is a technical fleece layer for men. Its slim fit keeps warmth close to your torso while leaving the shoulders and arms free. The jacquard fleece has a distinctive zigzag knit that supports airflow and reduces bulk when packed. Adjust ventilation with the full front zipper. A chest pocket and two side pockets each have a zipper.

Selection and use

Try the vest over your intended base layer and, if needed, beneath a jacket. Check that the chest and hem fit without pressure and that your backpack does not restrict movement. Open the zipper during harder activity or add another layer for cooler breaks. The vest suits situations where you want torso warmth with plenty of arm movement.

Care and inspection

Follow the sewn-in label and Patagonia’s care instructions. Close the pockets before washing and wash with similar colours. Treat the fleece structure gently and keep it from unnecessary contact with rough hook-and-loop surfaces. Allow the vest to dry completely before storing it compressed.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
