Optimus Standfuß für Gaskartuschen

The green Optimus canister stand broadens the footprint of a compatible gas canister when cooking outdoors. Its three legs fold for transport. This older version, part 8018910, is made from nylon and has a manufacturer’s stated weight of 24 g. An unfolded diameter of 17.5 cm creates a wider base beneath the canister. It supplements a suitable stove setup; the canister, burner and cookware are not part of this accessory.

Selection and use

Check secure attachment to your canister before using the stove. The 450 g figure refers to canister fuel capacity, not a tested load rating for the complete setup. Place all legs on firm, reasonably level ground and follow the stove instructions. Check stability with the intended pot and supervise the setup during use.

Care and inspection

Let the stove setup cool fully before removing the stand. Remove soil and sand from the joints and attachment points. Inspect the nylon for cracks or deformation and check that the legs unfold completely. Store the stand clean and dry, and replace damaged parts before further use.
