Maloja - EsteraM. Alpaca Wool Headband Deep Black Multi

The Maloja EsteraM. is a hand-knitted headband made from 100% alpaca wool. Its soft yarn provides warmth and a comfortable feel. The open shape covers the forehead and ears while leaving the top of the head uncovered. This model is made in collaboration with Wipalla e.V., an association supporting children and young people in La Paz as well as Bolivian women and their children.

Selection and use

When trying the headband on, check that it feels comfortable around your forehead and ears. It should stay in place when you turn or lower your head without feeling tight. Wear it on a short walk first to assess the fit. Choose the rest of your clothing to suit the weather, wind and activity. An open headband and a closed hat cover different areas of the head.

Care and checks

Follow the care label for the alpaca yarn and handle the knit gently. Air the accessory after wearing and allow damp areas to dry completely before storage. Avoid pulling individual stitches or letting the fabric catch on exposed hook-and-loop fasteners. Occasionally check the knit for snagged threads and follow the product’s instructions when cleaning is needed.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
