Smith Engage 2 Mips Unisex matte black

The Smith Engage 2 Mips in Matte Black is a mountain bike helmet for touring, trail riding and regular off-road use. Reference E00757/3OE identifies the matte black version. Extended rear coverage and an in-mould construction form part of its design. A dial lets you adjust the fit around your head. Choosing the correct size within the stated head circumference range remains the starting point for a secure and comfortable fit.

The helmet has 20 fixed ventilation openings. AirEvac supports airflow when used with compatible eyewear. Its visor adjusts to two positions, and front channels allow temporary eyewear storage. The Mips system is designed to reduce rotational motion in certain angled impact situations. No helmet can prevent every injury, so check that the helmet sits level and securely, with the straps correctly routed and adjusted for your head.

Measure your head circumference and try the helmet with your cycling glasses. Set the adjustment system and chin strap according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The helmet should not move loosely when you turn or nod your head. Inspect it before each ride and follow replacement instructions after an impact. Use suitable cleaning methods for the shell, pads and straps, let everything dry thoroughly and store it away from heat.
