Northwave Corsair 2 WMN darkgrey

The Northwave Corsair 2 WMN in Dark Grey is a women’s cycling shoe for mountain-bike rides and routes involving short walking sections. An SLW3 dial closure and an additional hook-and-loop strap adjust the fit around your foot. A mesh upper supports ventilation, while heel and toe reinforcements complement the construction. The patterned rubber outsole has an attachment for suitable two-bolt MTB cleats. Its cycling-shoe construction and pronounced tread suit varied outings beyond purely road-based riding.

Selection and use

Try the shoes with your cycling socks and check heel hold and toe room. Confirm pedal and cleat approval and have the cleat position adjusted to fit. Practise clipping in and out in a safe area first. Walk carefully on wet rock or smooth floors even though the outsole has a pronounced tread.

Care and inspection

Gently remove mud and clean according to Northwave’s care instructions. Open the closures for drying and avoid direct heater warmth. Keep the dial and outsole free from coarse dirt. Before your next ride, inspect cleat fixing, tread and closures. Store the shoes once the interior and removable parts are completely dry.
