Selection and use

Try the shoes with the socks you intend to wear for walking. Check that the heel is held securely while the toes have enough space during your stride. The right shape matters as much as the printed size. Walk a few steps and assess both feet. For more demanding mountain routes, choose footwear suited to the terrain, load and support required.

Care and inspection

Remove loose dirt after use and follow Meindl’s care instructions for textile uppers and GORE-TEX. Dry the shoes slowly at room temperature. Inspect tread, laces and seams regularly and avoid direct radiator heat during drying.
