McKINLEY Kansas MID AQB J Children’s Outdoor Shoe Black Night/White

The McKINLEY Kansas MID AQB J is a mid-cut outdoor shoe for children in Black Night/White. Its AQUABASE half-sock construction adds water-repellent properties to the mesh upper. A removable KIDSFIT insole helps with size checks and contributes cushioning under the foot. Lacing and an ankle strap allow adjustment, while the treaded outsole is designed for walks and outdoor outings.

Version and details

• Kansas MID AQB J, model 422870.
• Children’s outdoor shoe in Black Night/White.
• Mid-cut design with lacing and an ankle strap.
• Water-repellent AQUABASE half-sock construction.
• Removable KIDSFIT insole and treaded outsole.

Selection and use

Try both shoes with the intended socks and check toe room, heel hold and foot width. Remove the insole for size checks and reassess the fit regularly as children’s feet grow. Adjust the lacing and strap to hold the foot without restricting it. Water repellency is not general approval for prolonged standing in water. Choose the footwear, route and other clothing together for the planned outing.

Care and inspection

Gently brush off loose dirt and dry damp shoes open at room temperature. Follow the care instructions and avoid direct heater warmth. Before the next outing, inspect the lacing, strap, seams and outsole tread for damage or wear.
