Light, stiff, and incredibly quick to assemble: In the most demanding situations, the Carbon Probe 280 Speed Lock excels with speed. In developing our probes, we pay attention to every detail so they fulfill their purpose: finding the target. The stiff, lightweight probe made of premium carbon features a glove-friendly, tension-resistant quick-lock telescoping system. So locking is particularly fast and reliable. An audible click tells you when the probe is correctly tensioned and ready for use. The ergonomic grip can be clipped to the assembled probe and stowed during use. The optimized visual 360-degree depth guidance system ensures you always have the right information on hand. The shaped tip efficiently penetrates compacted avalanche snow – so you save energy while probing. The lower part of the probe in orange serves as a visual guide as you approach buried victims. All Mammut avalanche probes are UIAA-certified and therefore efficient in rescue, durable, and ergonomic to handle. This probe with a total length of 280 cm measures 45 cm when packed. Includes a probe bag with integrated emergency plan.
