Mammut Alugator Ultra dark grey

One of the lightest aluminum shovels on the market – the Alugator Ultra earns its spot on the podium with its modern design and innovative materials. As the first shovel of its kind with a welded construction and an incredibly thin 1 mm shovel blade made from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum, it makes no compromises on weight or performance. Like all Mammut avalanche shovels, it cuts consolidated avalanche snow effortlessly. What sets the Alugator Ultra apart from other shovels? Its minimal weight. With a quickly assembled telescopic shaft and symmetric T-grip for ideal energy transfer while shoveling, it sets new standards in durability and performance. Thanks to its space-saving shovel blade design, this life-saving piece of equipment fits in a small backpack. In emergency situations, every second counts. That's why our avalanche equipment meets the highest safety standards. All Mammut avalanche shovels are UIAA-certified, so reliable and effective in rescue.
