Single rope with a low-pollutant, PFC-free coating - Climb Green.
We developed this rope together with professional climber and big-wall legend Tommy Caldwell. It is ideally suited to big walls and demanding routes.
Color Tec technology creates a clearly visible colour change between the two halves of the rope and therefore a permanent middle mark.
Because it is made on a braiding machine with 48 bobbins, the rope has a particularly fine sheath structure with very pleasant handling and is highly abrasion-resistant despite its small diameter.

Color Tec
An innovative braiding process for producing bicolour ropes, in which the entire braid design changes permanently and unmistakably at the middle of the rope.
The result is a change of design at the middle of the rope that makes the middle easy to identify. 
Edelrid uses this braiding technology exclusively for the ropes in the Pro Line.
In this process, the order of the incoming sheath yarns is changed automatically.
This creates a new design in the second half that is clearly different from the first half.
This is made possible by a second braiding circle.
The bobbins of the inner braiding circle switch to the outer braiding circle and vice versa.
As a result, sheath yarns that initially run in the core move into the sheath and therefore to the surface of the rope.
This makes it possible to achieve both colour and design changes.

Thermo Shield
Thermo Shield is the basic finish with which we treat all ropes to guarantee the proven suppleness of EDELRID ropes.
This finish is a thermal process through which core and sheath yarns are perfectly matched to each other.
Through a special heat treatment, the fibres in the rope relax and shrink out.
This harmonises the sliding properties of the yarns within the rope, and the rope becomes supple and compact.
This produces ropes that neither shrink further nor quickly become stiff.

3D Lap Coil
In combination with the well-thought-out packaging design, it is now child's play to start climbing straight away with the new rope.
That is because it can be pulled out very easily.
The marking on the rope and the detailed description on the packaging make pulling it out even easier, so that the rope can be used immediately without annoying twisting and tangling.
