Size help

Which ski length suits me?

The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.

Use a child’s current height, weight and ability. Do not add length just to allow room to grow.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Check before choosing

  • Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
  • Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
  • Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.

Measure your height and weight

Stand upright against a wall without shoes and measure from the floor to the top of your head.
  1. Stand against a wall without shoes, looking straight ahead.
  2. Ask someone to measure from the floor to the top of your head in centimetres.
  3. Check your current weight. For Nordic skis, use the weight range and flex for the exact model.

Boot sole length*
The boot sole length is printed in mm on the outside of the ski boot shell, usually at the heel (for example 305). It is not your shoe size.

Enter a value between 200 and 380 mm. We need it to mount and adjust your binding.

The binding is adjusted to a sample boot. Sport Schindele does not guarantee correct release. Please have it checked by a specialist retailer before use.

Frequently asked questions

Advice on choosing ski equipment for children.

Get expert advice
  • How do I check what is included and choose bindings?

Check the product description to find out whether bindings are included and which model comes with the offer. Clarify any uncertainties with us before choosing additional bindings.

  • Which length suits my child?

Height, weight, skiing ability and the specific ski model matter when choosing a length. Buying a longer ski to grow into is not automatically the right choice. Share these details with us for a personal recommendation.

  • What matters for boots and bindings?

Children’s ski boots and bindings must match in sole standard, size range and intended use. Shoe size alone cannot establish compatibility. Our team can check the specific combination with you.
