SKS Velo 55 Kids 20'' Set, Radschützer/Schutzblech

The SKS Velo 55 Kids 20 inch set contains a front and a rear mudguard for compatible children's bicycles. The guards catch spray and dirt thrown up by the tyres, making them useful for the school run, everyday riding and family weekend trips in damp conditions.

Compare the wheel size, tyre width and available clearance at the frame and fork. The wheel's inch designation alone does not confirm a fit on every children's bicycle. The shape of the attachment points and the space around the tyre also matter.

Fitting and inspection

The Velo system uses a removable mudguard attachment. Additional stays are available separately. Follow the SKS fitting instructions and check that both wheels turn freely after fitting.

Inspect the attachment regularly and after riding over uneven ground. Remove accumulated mud so that adequate clearance remains between each tyre and its guard. Before the next ride, check that no part is loose or rubbing against a tyre.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
