The black Kid-Comfort side stand is intended for compatible children’s bicycles with 16 to 20-inch wheels. It mounts centrally behind the bottom bracket and has a counter plate. Its adjustable length allows the support height to be adapted to the bicycle. This aluminium version is a replacement or retrofit accessory for a child’s bicycle designed to accept such a stand.

Selection and use

Before ordering, inspect the frame mounting area and clearance to the chainstays and crank. A matching wheel diameter alone does not confirm fit. Adjust the stand on level ground and check that the bicycle rests securely, with the foot fully supported. Then check the retracted position: the stand and mounting hardware must not contact moving parts while pedalling or steering. Have a bicycle specialist fit it if needed.

Care and checks

Remove dirt gently with a suitable mild cleaner and dry the component afterwards. Regularly inspect fastenings and stressed areas for looseness, wear or damage. Recheck operation after a fall or a substantial impact. Follow the instructions for the component and bicycle when installing, adjusting and maintaining it.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
