Völkl Mantra Junior - 2026/27
Völkl Mantra Junior - 2026/27
The junior version of the Mantra, without a titanal layer for lightweight skiers.
With an 86 mm waist, the Mantra JR offers plenty of float even in soft snow, but thanks to a full-sensor wood core for a smooth flex and a rocker profile at tip and tail, it is also playful off the piste. Unlike the adult model, this ski does without a titanal layer, as younger skiers do not have the necessary weight to benefit from this feature. This gives the Mantra JR exactly the ride characteristics you would expect from it, optimally tailored to its target group.
BEST FOR:

- Groomed pistes

TECHNOLOGIES
- Tip & Tail Rocker: Rocker only in the tip and tail areas, pre-tension in the binding area
- Full Sidewall: The sidewall along the entire length of the ski ensures direct and optimal power transmission.
- Multilayer Woodcore: The sidewall continues into the interior of the ski in the form of directly backed, extremely stable layers of wood along the flanks of the sandwich core. Combined with a more flexible, lighter wood in the middle of the sandwich core, this construction brings numerous benefits: the hardwood content within the sidewall provides increased power transmission, contributes to better edge grip and supports the edge against external impact. The softwood content in the middle of the ski is lighter, giving more agility and manoeuvrability. The combination of both types of wood along the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal stiffness distribution and enables more precise ski control. The construction offers highly sporty skiers a combination of manoeuvrability and stability, which can also win the decisive hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.
- Woodcore: Special PU construction with a wood core in the ski body.

Size help
Which ski length suits me?
The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.
Use a child’s current height, weight and ability. Do not add length just to allow room to grow.
A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.
Check before choosing
- Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
- Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
- Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.
Measure your height and weight
- Stand against a wall without shoes, looking straight ahead.
- Ask someone to measure from the floor to the top of your head in centimetres.
- Check your current weight. For Nordic skis, use the weight range and flex for the exact model.
