Giro Dime FS Mips matte blue
Description
A kids and youth version of the robust Quarter™ helmet for adults.
The Dime FS MIPS is a straightforward kids and youth helmet that looks and feels great thanks to its 9 ventilation openings, sweat-absorbing pads, and bright, bold colors.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) consists of a movable shell inside the helmet that follows head movement (10–15mm) and dampens any rotational energy that may occur during falls to protect the brain.
Hard Shell Construction
Hard shell construction is the traditional method of helmet manufacturing.
Here, the robust outer shell and foamed EPS inner shell are glued together.
ABS plastic is used for the outer shell.
