The Icebreaker Pocket Hat is a lightweight, close-fitting merino beanie for women and men. This Black/Gritstone Heather version combines black and grey and is reversible. Its simple shape works for hiking, travelling and everyday use in cooler weather. Merino wool manages moisture and naturally resists odour. The small packed size lets you keep the hat in a jacket pocket until it is needed.

Selection and use

Position the hat evenly, covering your forehead and ears as needed. Check the fit while moving your head and choose the visible side to suit your clothing. Adapt other layers to the weather, activity and breaks. Before leaving the hat packed in a pocket for an extended period, let it dry completely after wearing.

Care and inspection

Follow the care label on your version and wash with similar colours. Icebreaker’s merino care guidance specifies avoiding fabric softener. Use suitable detergent, treat the knit gently and keep it away from rough fastenings. Dry according to the label and store the hat clean and completely dry.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
