Grivel G12 New-Classic

The Grivel G12 New-Classic is a semi-rigid twelve-point crampon for mountaineering on snow and ice. Its New-Classic binding has plastic cradles at the toe and heel and closes with a strap. The length can be adjusted by hand. Steel construction and included Antibott plates complete the equipment of the RA074A04 version.

Selection and use

Check the crampon with the exact mountaineering boot you intend to use. The size range and strap system do not replace a fit check of the sole shape. Have the length, fit and strap routing adjusted and checked according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Use requires appropriate crampon skills and equipment suited to the terrain.

Care and inspection

After use, remove snow and dirt and let the crampons dry. Inspect points, connecting parts, plastic cradles, straps and Antibott plates for wear or damage. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintenance and replacement. Protect the points during transport so they do not damage your backpack or other equipment.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
