Grivel Double Spring 2.0

The Grivel Double Spring 2.0 is an elastic retention leash for two ice tools or ice axes. Two extending arms and small screwgate connectors link the tools to the intended attachment point. An integrated swivel helps reduce twisting as you change between tools. This accessory is intended to manage and retain equipment during ice climbing and relevant alpine activities. Correct attachment must follow the manufacturer instructions.

Version and details

• Model PJDSPRINGR, Double Spring 2.0 with swivel
• Two elastic arms for a pair of tools
• Small screwgate connectors at the tool ends
• Retention connection to help prevent tool loss
• Not for personal belaying, anchors or abseiling

Selection and use

Before use, check compatibility with your tools and their intended attachment points. Confirm that movement remains free and the screwgate connectors are closed correctly. The leash retains tools against loss; protection of people must be provided by equipment intended and approved for that purpose.

Care and inspection

Inspect the webbing, stitching, connectors and swivel for cuts, abrasion and malfunction. Follow Grivel care and retirement instructions. Have damage or exceptional loading assessed before further use, and replace the leash whenever required.
