Grivel Carryabiner ITCAB ice screw carrier

The Grivel Carryabiner ITCAB is a large aluminium carabiner also designed to organise ice screws on a harness. Two shaped projections on its body help position the carrier and temporarily park screws while selecting one. A securing band supports attachment to suitable harnesses. Its wire gate provides a wide opening for clipping equipment in and out. The gold-coloured version is supplied as one carabiner. Ice screws shown in the product image illustrate its function and are not included.

Version and details

• Carryabiner, manufacturer reference ITCAB.
• Aluminium body with wire gate.
• Shaped projections for organising screws.
• Supplied as one carabiner without ice screws.

Selection and use

Before use, check compatibility with your harness and read the supplied instructions. For any safety-related application, the actual markings, permitted loading direction and manufacturer’s instructions are decisive. Attachment as an equipment carrier does not create a load-bearing anchor. Keep the gate free to close and avoid unfavourable loading against edges.

Care and inspection

Inspect the body, gate and securing band before each use for damage, deformation and correct operation. Remove dirt according to the manufacturer’s instructions and let the carabiner dry. Unusual loading or doubts about reliability require competent assessment. Store it dry and protected from aggressive substances.
