Fritschi Traxion
Description
Fritschi Traxion ski crampons are intended for compatible Vipec and Tecton bindings. They support touring ascents on hard snow when climbing skins alone no longer provide enough grip. Their side teeth engage with the snow, helping you load the skis with control, particularly on demanding traverses.
Versions and compatibility
- Available shop widths: 90, 100 and 115 mm.
- For the appropriate attachment on Fritschi Vipec, Vipec Evo and Tecton bindings.
- Supplied as one pair, meaning two ski crampons.
Choose the width to suit your skis. Fritschi relates the width marking to the ski waist for which the crampon fits. Before touring, check that it clears the ski freely and sits correctly in the designated binding attachment.
Prepare before the tour
Practise fitting and removing the crampons at home, following your binding instructions. Fit them in an accessible place before reaching a difficult section. After use, remove snow and moisture and inspect both the attachment and teeth. Store the pair dry and keep it within easy reach on your next tour.
Shipping & advice
In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
