Touring skis

Frequently asked questions

Advice on choosing touring skis, bindings and climbing skins.

  • Is a binding included?

The product details explicitly identify this ski as supplied without bindings. A separately selected binding must suit the ski and boot. Ask us to check the combination if you are unsure.

  • How do I choose touring ski length?

Alongside your height and skiing ability, consider the balance between climbing and descending. Weight, waist width and construction affect how the ski performs. A personal recommendation takes your terrain and touring style into account.

  • What needs to match for bindings and skins?

Check the ski, binding and boot specifications for the exact combination. Pin bindings require suitable boot inserts. Skins must match the ski in length, width and attachment; ski crampons must suit the binding system and ski width. Check the product details and clarify any uncertainties before buying.
