Size help

Does this binding fit my equipment?

We check the ski interface, brake width and boot compatibility separately. A suitable brake width alone does not confirm the complete combination.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Have these checked before use

  • Resolve all three checks: ski interface, brake width and boot compatibility.
  • Have a qualified workshop mount the binding, adjust it to the actual boot and test its release.
  • This guide does not calculate a personal DIN/release setting or replace binding adjustment.

Identify your ski and boot

Read the external sole length from the boot. The appropriate brake width depends on the ski width under the binding.
  1. Note your ski model and length. Find the waist width in millimetres and the interface or plate in the manufacturer’s specifications.
  2. Note your boot model and sole standard. Read the external sole length in millimetres directly from the shell.
  3. If a detail is missing, select “I don’t know”. Our team can check the combination using model information or photos.

Three different measurements

Foot length · mm
The measured distance from your heel to your longest toe. Your two feet may have different lengths.
Mondopoint · MP
A sizing system based on foot length, usually shown in centimetres for ski boots. Use the chart for the exact model.
External sole length · mm
The outside length of the shell used for binding adjustment. Read it from the boot. It is neither foot length nor Mondopoint size.

Description

The touring binding Control Step-In in the new, sporty-clean look stands out with the optimized geometry of its adjustment mechanism, which leads to especially easy operation.
Individual, tool-free adjustment in seconds is as much in focus as high running comfort and stability.

Easy - Simple operation
Thanks to the innovative Turn Lock rotating lever, entry and exit are easier than ever.
Whatever the situation: with TURNAMIC® you can securely close the binding and open it with ease.

Tunable - Tool-free adjustability
TURNAMIC® enables especially on classic wax, skin, and other climbing skis seconds-fast tuning of ski performance.
Pushed forward, it offers more grip; pushed backward, gliding properties improve noticeably.

Dynamic - Noticeable running dynamics
Through optimized coordination of the components boot-binding-plate-ski, TURNAMIC® delivers unprecedented run dynamics.
FLOWFLEX® technology allows the ski to move completely freely.
The recreational skier appreciates perfect control.

Classic flexor
Flexor developed for Classic technique with Flex Grade 7.0 and slightly progressive power curve.
Pre-load technology guarantees optimal ski control from the start of movement.
45° working angle (amplitude), tool-free change, secure fit in the binding housing, and wear-resistant material characterize this high-performance damper.

Double Lock Slider
Doubly secured detent tab for easy and safe fixing and adjusting the binding on the IFP.
With color warning when in open position.

Heel Pre-Adjust
Boot size is pre-selected via snap hooks on the heel rails.
When adjusting the binding position, the heel plate is automatically repositioned, eliminating the need for separate readjustment.
Sufficient functional range in boot size makes it easier for racers to test skis and for rental shops to fit customers.

Step-In
The Step-In mechanism enables particularly easy entry into the binding.
A clearly audible click signals secure closure of the binding.

Torsion-Proof Body
The carefully thought-out housing construction with wide support surface and torsion-resistant geometry is the basis for direct power transfer.
Unprecedented ski control and drive force go hand in hand with minimal weight.

Turn Lock
The ergonomic design with grip-secure soft component enables intuitive operation when entering and exiting the binding.
Tactile and acoustic feedback when closing and opening.
Protected against accidental opening.
