Contec Pedal Quick Step schwarz 2023

CONTEC Quick Step pedals are conventional platform pedals for city bikes and everyday riding. The black version uses a polypropylene body and frame and attaches to the crank with a 9/16-inch thread. An open platform and orange side reflectors give them a straightforward appearance. They suit a bicycle used with ordinary everyday shoes for commuting, local errands or relaxed rides, without requiring a matching cleat system.

Version and details

• Standard platform pedal design in black.
• Polypropylene (PP) pedal body and frame.
• Plain bearings and a 9/16-inch thread.
• Manufacturer’s listed weight: 0.31kg.
• Side reflectors shown in the product images.

Selection and use

Check the crank thread before purchase. The left and right pedals use different thread directions and must be installed on the correct side. Try the platform with the footwear you intend to use. For demanding sports riding or specific grip requirements, discuss the pedal choice with a bicycle specialist rather than relying on thread size alone.

Care and inspection

Clean with a soft cloth or brush. Regularly inspect the attachment, reflectors and bearing movement. Have the pedals checked before the next ride if you notice cracking, excessive play or a stiff bearing. Follow the bicycle and pedal instructions when fitting or maintaining them.
