Contec CP-043 Pedal

The CONTEC CP-043 are conventional platform pedals with a polished aluminium body and black aluminium cage. The toothed outer contact area supports contact with the shoe sole. A CrMo axle and bearing-supported rotation form part of the design, complemented by side reflectors. The pair contains a left and a right pedal for a bicycle with compatible crank threads. Its silver-and-black appearance combines a bright centre body with a dark outer cage.

Selection and use

Confirm compatibility with the crank threads and identify left and right correctly. Follow the manufacturer’s installation requirements, or have a workshop check the fit. Before riding, confirm secure attachment and smooth rotation without unusual play. Shoe contact also depends on the footwear used and on wet or dirty conditions.

Care and inspection

Remove dirt with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, avoiding pressure washing around bearings. Check fixings, wear and function regularly and after impacts or transport. Have damaged parts assessed professionally before further use. Follow the appropriate component and bicycle instructions for installation, maintenance and tightening requirements.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account.
