DEELUXE Union Rover 1 Crampons 160 mm, Pair

The Union Rover 1 crampons are accessories for the Rover approach-ski system. Their serrated aluminium bodies add purchase on hard or icy climbing tracks. This version is 160 mm wide. A nylon handle supports handling. The matching earlier design is described for Union Explorer and Expedition 2.0 bindings. The offered set contains two crampons and a storage bag. Before use, the actual combination of Rover ski, binding and crampon must be checked against the manufacturer’s documentation.

Version and details

• Serrated aluminium crampons.
• 160 mm width and nylon handle.
• For the matching Rover/Explorer/Expedition 2.0 system.
• Set of two crampons and a storage bag.

Selection and use

Check approval for your exact ski and binding version rather than choosing by width alone. Have a qualified person demonstrate attachment and correct engagement. Check secure seating before entering a hard slope. Crampons complement the climbing equipment and do not replace route planning suited to the terrain and conditions.

Care and inspection

Remove snow, ice and dirt after the tour as directed by the manufacturer. Check teeth, handles and attachment points for cracks, deformation or wear. Have damaged parts assessed by a specialist. Dry the crampons before storage and carry them in the bag so sharp edges cannot damage other equipment.
