The uvex sportstyle 514 in Blue Matt/Mirror Blue is a sporting children’s sunglass. Its blue/orange frame combines a flexible shape with soft temple ends. Blue mirrored lenses define the front. The dark category-3 tint is intended for sunny conditions; the manufacturer specifies 12% visible-light transmission for this lens. The stated UV protection covers UVA, UVB and UVC radiation. Selection and use

Check that the sunglasses sit comfortably on the nose and ears and remain secure during head movements. The temples should not create pressure, and the lenses should not touch the eyelashes. Choose the tint for the light conditions. The dark category-3 lens is adapted to sunshine and allows correspondingly less brightness through in low light.

Care and inspection

Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Gently remove dust and sand before cleaning the lenses with a suitable soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials and strong heat. Inspect the frame, temples and lenses for damage. Store the sunglasses safely so the mirrored surface does not rub against other objects during transport.
