Blackdiamond Glitelite Mix FL 135mm

Black Diamond Glidelite Mix FL 135 mm climbing skins are designed for ski touring. Manufacturer reference BD163920 identifies the version with a 135 mm starting width and predefined length ranges. The plush combines 65% mohair with 35% nylon, balancing forward glide with grip during the ascent. Choose the length according to the actual ski and its attachment geometry rather than relying on the nominal ski length alone.

The stated ski-length ranges are S for 151–168 cm, M for 159–176 cm, L for 167–184 cm and XL for 175–193 cm. The STS tail attachment provides 20 cm of adjustment. Black Diamond Gold Label adhesive connects the skin to the ski base. The starting width needs trimming to the ski’s sidecut, leaving the edges exposed as directed in the trimming instructions. Check tip and tail shape before purchasing as well as width and length.

Have the skins professionally trimmed if needed and test tail tension before the tour. Keep the adhesive and ski base clean and suitably prepared. Remove snow and moisture after use, then dry the skins gently according to the instructions. Protect the adhesive from dirt and strong direct heat. Regularly inspect the glue, attachments and plush. Adapt technique and additional equipment to hard or icy conditions on the route.
