The upper is made of the skin-friendly and durable synthetic material Birko-Flor® in an elegant nubuk look and thus looks deceptively similar to real leather in texture and color.

Upper – Birko Flor
Birko-Flor® is a skin-friendly, durable and low-maintenance synthetic material used exclusively by BIRKENSTOCK.

Insole – leather top sole
The skin-friendly, flexible leather top sole nestles gently against your foot and adapts to its contour.
The open-pored and thus particularly breathable surface allows a pleasant foot climate even during strenuous physical activity.

Footbed – cork
Cork is a renewable raw material obtained from the bark layer of the cork oak.
The natural product is heat-insulating and has very good cushioning properties.

Outsole - EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, particularly lightweight, elastic plastic with particularly good cushioning properties.
This smooths out minor ground irregularities and gently cushions the steps in walking movements.
