This sandal is a completely vegan version of the popular model and contains no animal-derived components whatsoever, certified by independent laboratories.
The upper is made from high-quality synthetic Birko-Flor® in a noble nubuck look that feels particularly soft, skin-friendly, and durable.
The centerpiece is the anatomically shaped original Birkenstock footbed made of cork and latex, modeled after the natural footprint in sand.

Outsole - EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, particularly lightweight, elastic plastic with particularly good cushioning properties.
This smooths out minor ground irregularities and gently cushions the steps in walking movements.

Footbed – cork
Cork is a renewable raw material obtained from the bark layer of the cork oak.
The natural product is heat-insulating and has very good cushioning properties.
