Salewa Wildfire 2 GTX W oatmeal / black
Description
A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® approach boot for women developed for quick approaches in the mountains and good climbing performance.
The Wildfire 2 Gore-Tex® boot is a well-fitting, technical approach boot for women with a grippy POMOCA outsole for climbing performance and quick approaches, as well as for technical and light alpine climbing.
The upper is made of recycled, breathable mesh with an elastic insert on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane that reliably protects you from the weather at all times. A net of Kevlar wires that wraps your foot comfortably provides improved, precise fit and flexibility and firm ankle and heel support. Moreover, the Wildfire 2 is equipped with our unique Switchfit adjustment, which allows you to easily switch from hiking to climbing mode, as well as the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) for a footbed that can be individually customized to your respective needs.
The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a climbing zone in the toe area and thus ensures good edging on small rock outcrops. It is also equipped with S-Path technology for natural rollover. The POMOCA rubber provides good grip on rock in both dry and wet conditions, while the strong, pronounced tread lugs provide good ground grip even on mud and softer terrain.
