TX Guide is the leather version of the TX Guide, the most technical shoe in La Sportiva's TX Series line.
Perfect combination of "split leather", suede leather for better fit and nubuck leather for abrasion resistance, a shoe for technical approach and mountaineering.
Developed for mountain guides and everyone who works in the mountains and is looking for a high-performance product that is durable and has a "climbing oriented" look & feel.
Versatile, light and protective - this shoe is perfect for walk-run & climb approaches and features technical solutions and look inspired by climbing shoes: asymmetric and forward-positioned lacing, friction-resistant eyelets at the toe and "overlap" tongue for maximum foot envelopment.
The enveloping "Adaptable Fit" shape for maximum performance also allows, thanks to the elastic leather, optimal adaptation to all foot shapes.
The very stable toe allows optimal edge hold during mountaineering.
The "climbing-inspired" protective edge is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The sole/midsole combination was made with double-density compressed EVA for heel cushioning and midfoot stabilization:
The front part of the midsole is equipped with a TPU layer created using two-component injection molding technology, which serves simultaneously as a climbing zone stabilizer, interlayer and rock guard layer on the forefoot. The sole with double Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip blend is the perfect combination of grip and durability.
The wide heel supports braking on downhill and provides more grip on uphill.
