The Tonale GTX impresses as an entry-level model for hiking in high alpine regions, in the middle mountains, and on paved trails not only with its fashionable appearance. A stretch zone is integrated in the heel area of the cuff. Thanks to this heelcuff freeflex system, the entire cuff is more elastic. It sits snugly but is completely pressure-free. The variofix® system provides a perfect fit and heel fixation. The free-running 'Speedwire' pulls snugly around the heel when laced. The Vibram® rubber grip sole with EVA duo density cushioning wedge also provides secure grip, and thanks to GORE-TEX, the shoe is guaranteed waterproof.
