Lowa Ticam Evo GTX schwarz limone
Description
How about the resole-able trekking model TICAM EVO GTX, which perfectly balances stability, flexibility, and wearing comfort?
Its robust split leather combined with the waterproof GORE-TEX inner lining ensures your feet stay reliably dry.
Thanks to 2-zone lacing with I-LOCK clamping hooks, ROLLER EYELETS, and X-LACING, the trekking shoes offer the option to individually adjust the fit depending on the trail's requirements.
For additional wearing comfort, the shaft is equipped with a LOWA-FLEX® zone and a C4 shoe tongue that doesn't slip when walking thanks to X-LACING.
A slight toe drop for improved roll-off behavior rounds out the comfort package.
Only missing is the conditionally crampon-friendly and well-profiled Vibram outsole with CLIMBING ZONE in the toe area, which makes even via ferrata and tours on rock and ice comfortably manageable.
Vibram Alp Trac Numen – Climbing Zone.
The TICAM EVO GTX features a CLIMBING ZONE.
This is a flat construction of the front sole area, which allows for light climbing sections.
The performance sole VIBRAM ALP TRAC® NUMEN is specifically designed for alpine conditions.
The large 'climbing zone' at the sole tip enables precise foot placement on steep rock.
Furthermore, the lug arrangement ensures that dirt is released from the sole when walking.
Gore-Tex
Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: The TICAM EVO GTX is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane.
The innovative technology ensures optimal waterproofing and breathability.
2 Zone Lacing
With the dual-zone lacing, the TICAM EVO GTX forefoot and shaft have separately adjustable lacing zones.
This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for uphill and downhill hiking.
I-Lock
Simply pull tight and lock: To simplify lacing, LOWA developed a special clamping hook for the TICAM EVO GTX.
This allows lacing in two zones.
After the laces are tightened in the lower part of the shoe, they can be locked via this clamping hook.
Simply push the hook latch up to release the clamping, and the midfoot lacing can be loosened.
Roller Eyelets
So that the shoelace runs flexibly and smoothly through the eyelets, small balls in the metal loops on the TICAM EVO GTX minimize friction.
X-Lacing
This ensures the tongue stays where it belongs – without slipping or pressure points: With X-LACING technology, this is easily possible on the TICAM EVO GTX.
The special lacing fixes the tongue both vertically and horizontally.
Since the lacing is independent of the individual instep height, this construction is suitable for every foot.
Through this lacing technology, the pressure from the laces is no longer transmitted only to the hooks, but across the entire tongue.
Flexfit
When the shaft of a hiking boot bends easily, the foot can roll off better.
This saves energy especially when climbing uphill and provides noticeable comfort. Therefore, LOWA has incorporated a flexible zone and a so-called "lace loop" in the foot flexion area on the TICAM EVO GTX. This refers to offsetting the eyelet and using a flexible deep-pull hook that improves heel fit and eases flexion.
Lowa Flex
So that each individual eyelet is flexible, these are attached to individually mounted lacing parts on the TICAM EVO GTX.
These are made from soft edge leather or supple textile materials to avoid pressure points.
Thanks to the flexible arrangement of the eyelets, individual lacing adjustment is easily possible without creating excessive pressure at any point.
At the same time, the tongue is reliably encased.
C4-Tongue
With this special tongue construction on the TICAM EVO GTX, wearing comfort is noticeably increased.
For example, the tongue is more thickly padded on the outer side of the foot and features a soft finish at the upper end.
This asymmetrical padding provides effectively coordinated support in different foot areas.
To account for foot anatomy, the ankle cutouts on the inside are also higher than on the outside.
Additionally, a flexible bend insert is integrated on the inside of the foot.
Semi-auto crampon
The TICAM EVO GTX is suitable for "semi-automatic crampons".
These are crampons for mountaineering and approach shoes that have a rear but not a front sole edge.
Resoleable
The TICAM EVO GTX boot model can be resoled.
