In the eighties, HANWAG's first sport climbing shoes came onto the market. Now an icon celebrates its revival. The ROTPUNKT not only recalls the iconic era in color – it is a homage to those who blazed new trails on rock and beyond. Pioneers in free climbing like Sepp Gschwendtner and Kurt Albert shaped an entire era. With a red dot they marked the routes they climbed without aids in the first ascent. Once an approach shoe, today a mountain and leisure shoe that scores with retro spirit and high-quality details. Not only the HANWAG logo from the eighties, but the entire design of the shoe is true to the original. The ROTPUNKT is limited to 999 pairs – each pair has an embossed serial number. The model is delivered in a retro-look shoe box including two additional laces and various ROTPUNKT extras.
