by eliminating unnecessary seams, the nubuck leather used here can flexibly adapt to the individual shape of the foot bones to prevent friction and relieve pressure on the big toe joint. the two-zone lacing also contributes to this, which now allows even easier adjustment to individual requirements thanks to redesigned locking hooks.
the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane provides additional comfort.

Double injection
for effective cushioning and high wearing comfort, the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws sole is attached to the shaft via a technically elaborate molding process.
For this, the upper goes into a specially made mold.
PU foam is then injected into this in different layers.
This creates the sole that directly bonds with the shaft to form a single unit.

Support frame
in the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame provides the best comfort.
This is a three-dimensional midsole design that LOWA developed in 1995.
This frame wraps your foot comfortably and supports it on uneven ground.
With shoes featuring a SUPPORT FRAME, the sole construction is slightly raised.

Two Zone Lacing
with the two-zone lacing, the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws has separately adjustable lacing zones in the forefoot and shaft.
This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for uphill and downhill hiking.

Lowa DynaPU
The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe.
in the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws, this consists of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®.
The special feature: even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its resilience.
So shoes made from it still have very good cushioning properties even after many kilometers.
