The Ortles Ascent Mid Gore-Tex® mountaineering boot is a solid solution for alpinists.
Its upper made of thick suede leather, the SALEWA® 3F System with steel wires and the reinforced TPU edge make it particularly robust and durable, while the stiff insole made of glass and carbon fiber-reinforced nylon further increases stability.
The midsole made of expanded polyurethane with double density and specially adapted, padded zones guarantees you comfort and precision.
Through the interchangeable layers of the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), the boot's footbed can be individually customized.
The Vibram® Alpine Guide sole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons and provides grip, durability and reliability in difficult terrain and low temperatures.
Its overall robustness is a key factor for use with crampons on snow and ice.
The tread features self-cleaning lugs for excellent grip and a toe tread designed for climbing with high edge performance.
The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane features an additional insulation layer that keeps your feet pleasantly warm and dry on cold winter days in the mountains.
An integrated stretch gaiter prevents snow from entering.
