Scarpa Mustang TRK GTX - Desert Beige/Mango

• Upper material
The upper combines water-repellent suede leather with 45% recycled ECO-mesh and offers a durable and more sustainable material package suitable for a variety of hikes and trekking tours. A protective TPU layer on the synthetic material increases durability in heavily stressed zones to counter abrasion. The construction with padded shaft collar and tongue provides comfort and protection from external influences, while the TPU heel stabilizer supports and protects the heel when stepping.

• Lacing
Differentiated lacing system developed for high stability in the forefoot area and increased comfort in the ankle area.
In the forefoot area, closed lacing eyelets ensure smooth lace gliding and enable even fit and secure foot hold. In the shaft area, open lacing eyelets ease entry and allow even and progressive adjustment of lacing tension.
A lacing lock is positioned between instep and ankle and enables individual adjustment and secure fastening of the lacing, which increases comfort and stability during use.

• Lining
The GORE-TEX PRISM XT membrane provides reliable waterproof protection while maintaining breathability and is suitable for use on wet ground.

• Insole
The lightweight PU midsole combined with IKS geometry and covered with a protective TPU structure offers a balanced ratio of agility and support and is ideal for day hikes and short trekking tours.

• Sole
The VIBRAM® XS TREK outsole with 5 mm tread depth provides stability and traction on technical, uneven, or slippery ground and helps reduce the risk of unsafe footing. The integrated rubber protection in the toe area, derived from the outsole, increases durability and protects the foot from impacts from rocks and sharp surfaces.
