The KODY EVO GTX MID JUNIOR was not simply given a design update. The children's hiking boot was also brought up to speed functionally, so that child-appropriate details and the new look formed a harmonious symbiosis. As with the previous models, the shaft is made of robust split leather, which is equipped with cool stitching details and thanks to the integrated waterproof GORE-TEX membrane reliably keeps little feet dry in any weather. The lacing system is easy to operate even for impatient little hands. While the SUPPORT FRAME provides optimal support in the shoe and additional stabilization of the foot arch. The directly sprayed PU midsole also brings plenty of cushioning. Combined with the grippy Vibram outsole and pronounced lug pattern, a perfectly rounded multifunctional boot with which the adventurous spirit of discovery-hungry kids knows no limits.

Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic with excellent cushioning properties and is therefore mostly used in the midsole. Due to the PU component, the soles become light in their composition and flexible in their function.

Felt is a textile sheet material that consists of an unordered, difficult to separate fiber material. The textile material is characterized by high elasticity and insulation capability, so its use in shoes is particularly as a component of insoles and as an insulating partition.

Mesh
Mesh fabric consists of many small meshes, mostly made of polyester or nylon, and technically forms a grid created by interconnected threads. Due to its special processing technique, the synthetic textile allows particularly high air permeability, is moisture-regulating and is low-maintenance, airy and wrinkle-resistant.

Memolatex
Memolatex consists of very soft latex foam. In addition to its lightness, memolatex is also characterized by a supportive effect on the natural rolling movement of the foot and is therefore mostly used in shoe insoles. Furthermore, memolatex wraps around the foot individually and thus offers a great comfort factor.

Suede leather corresponds to the underside of the skin and is characterized by a loose fiber structure, which results in a velvety surface and light nap. Suede leather is particularly insensitive due to its rough texture and open-pore. Depending on the desired look, suede leather can remain untreated or be oiled or waxed.

Textile
Our natural and synthetic textiles enable optimal heat and moisture management thanks to their application-specific properties. Due to their structural design, they are form-fitting and thus provide high wearing comfort for our products.
