The lightweight low cut impresses with durable materials, the exclusive HANWAG bead technology, and GORE-TEX invisible fit.

The Kaduro Light GTX has endurance – both over a long period and over a long distance.
In its development, HANWAG pursued the goal of creating an equally lightweight, well-cushioned, and durable low-cut hiking shoe with high energy return and 100% made in Europe that meets the realistic needs of hikers.
Its innovative midsole technology – the HANWAG bead technology – combines the best properties of PU – stability, cushioning, and durability – with the properties of e-TPU – lightness, comfort, and energy return.
HANWAG developed this unique technology in the outdoor shoe field in collaboration with BASF, based on extensive material testing.
The sole absorbs the energy generated when stepping on the ground and returns it during the further walking process.
At the same time, the softer midsole creates higher comfort when walking.
Both effects support hikers, especially over long distances.
The sole package is rounded out with a newly developed outsole with multifunctional design that provides optimal grip on various surfaces.
The tread of the weight-optimized outsole is designed so that it wears slowly and thus also contributes to the durability of the shoe.
Thanks to the lightweight GORE-TEX invisible fit membrane, which is virtually invisible in the shoe through direct bonding of upper and laminate, it is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.
Despite the minimalist design, HANWAG did not focus exclusively on weight reduction for the Kaduro Light GTX, but deliberately avoided even lighter but less durable materials.
