so the INNOVO GTX MID not only has a double-molded and comfortably cushioning LOWA® DYNAPU® midsole.
the state-of-the-art hiking shoe also stands on a heel area extra high-drawn outsole in "chunky style" that thanks to the multi-directional lug design and the resulting larger contact surface provides optimal grip.
the hiking shoe also takes new paths in terms of wearing comfort and benefits from a robust material mix of split leather and textile, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and numerous breathable surfaces. together with a spoiler-like designed collar, far forward pulled two-zone lacing and locking hooks, this provides an optimal fit.
these features are complemented by a high-drawn toe bumper and pull loops for easier entry and exit.
made for kilometres of hiking fun of the highest order.

for light hikes and day trips, multi-function shoes are ideal companions.
they are designed for a variety of outdoor activities and are therefore universally applicable in different terrain.

Lowa terra trac
the INNOVO GTX MID is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE.
This is a rubber outsole designed by LOWA with application-specific tread from an optimized rubber compound.
The advantage of a rubber sole lies in its good grip.
the LOWA® TERRA TRAC® sole excels through the combination of a multi-directional tread orientation with many individual elements with straight break edges that provides a high level of grip for your next hike.
the sole also features a pronounced heel edge that positively affects running comfort.

Double injection
for effective cushioning and high wearing comfort, the INNOVO GTX MID sole is attached to the shaft via a technically elaborate molding process.
For this, the upper goes into a specially made mold.
PU foam is then injected into this in different layers.
This creates the sole that directly bonds with the shaft to form a single unit.

Support frame
in the INNOVO GTX MID model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame provides the best comfort.
This is a three-dimensional midsole design that LOWA developed in 1995.
This frame wraps your foot comfortably and supports it on uneven ground.
With shoes featuring a SUPPORT FRAME, the sole construction is slightly raised.

Lowa DynaPU
The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe.
in the INNOVO GTX MID, this consists of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®.
The special feature: even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its resilience.
So shoes made from it still have very good cushioning properties even after many kilometers.
