The focus is on its innovative HANWAG Bead technology integrated in the heel area.
There is a targeted cushioning pad that optimally cushions the impact during footfall and efficiently returns the resulting energy to the next step.
This midsole technology combines the best properties of PU – stability, cushioning and durability – with the advantages of e-TPU – low weight, comfort and high energy return.
Developed in collaboration with BASF, it is based on extensive material testing and is unique in this form in the outdoor footwear sector.
The newly developed outsole offers optimal grip on a wide variety of surfaces with its multifunctional tread.
At the same time, the tread is designed to wear more slowly.
The anatomically shaped HANWAG StraightFit Extra last provides more space and natural toe position through a wider forefoot area.
For the upper, HANWAG deliberately chooses premium nubuck leather that guarantees robustness and durability without sacrificing wearing comfort.
