the DELAGO GTX LO is a classic approach shoe that proves its abilities not just on the mountain.
It features a robust rubber toe cap and a light PU film in the heel area, which protects the split leather from damage.
so that every step fits, the grippy Vibram outsole with its triangularly shaped lugs and multi-directionally arranged tread provides optimal grip.
Support is also provided by the moderately stiff and cushioned midsole as well as the two eyelets on the shaft, with which the lacing can be pulled even tighter and optimally adapted to individual needs.
All that's missing is the carabiner loop at the heel and the waterproof GORE-TEX lining to tackle challenging routes comfortably regardless of the weather.

Lowa DynaPU
the DELAGO GTX LO uses LOWA DynaPU®+.
This is a specially developed foam used for the midsole of the shoe.
It is largely responsible for the shoe's rolling behavior and cushioning.
The new LOWA DynaPU®+ offers an even higher recovery capacity due to its special cell structure, which ensures a better rebound effect for the athlete.
Even with continuous stress, this recovery capacity does not lose performance.

glued and stitched construction
all MOUNTAINEERING and TREKKING shoes are made at LOWA using the so-called glued and stitched construction method.
this is an ancient shoemaking art that uses strong tension to "stitch" the leather of the shaft around the last and glue it to the underside of the insole.
finally, the shaft is glued to the sole.
