Hanwag COASTRIDGE LOW ES seablue/sulphur

Sporty design, low weight, and sustainable materials: The Coastridge low ES is a true lightweight and is suitable for easy terrain and paved paths as well as for short day hikes and everyday activities. A material mix and fresh color combinations emphasize the sporty design of the model. Its main material is polyester-based textile, only heel and toe protection consist of leather. A sustainable detail is the completely PFC-free EcoShell membrane used in this model. This PU membrane developed by HANWAG itself is based on a complex, hydrophilic system that achieves waterproofing and breathability while completely avoiding the use of fluorocarbons. Not just the membrane, but the entire shoe is PFC-free. For perfect adhesion between sole and shaft as well as the highest quality, the direct injection technology is used, in which soft sole material is directly injected and bonded to the shaft. The Hanwag "Hike Light" sole is therefore very lightweight and particularly comfortable for the foot. It consists of dampening elements – soft heel and toe area made of PU – and stabilizing elements made of rubber in the midfoot area. The multifunctional shoe deliberately has no heel – because the flatter the ground, the less heel a shoe should have to achieve the most harmonious rolling motion of the foot.
