La Sportiva Aequilibrium Top GTX black/yellow

Lightweight and high-tech mountaineering boot for fast mountain climbing on changing terrain and for use at medium altitudes. According to state of the art, this boot is the perfect synthesis between lightness, comfort and durability. Excellent downhill characteristics thanks to the innovative heel construction "Double Heel™": the very pronounced geometry with dual heel construction improves braking characteristics when running downhill and allows smoother rolling behavior to spare the muscles. + Durability and lightness harmonize perfectly thanks to the new sole/midsole unit with external shell construction Rubber Guard™ and inside foam for more cushioning and lightness through fewer rubber layers. The form is ergonomics: enveloping and precise, with integrated TPU shells at the shoe tip and heel and for reinforcement of the upper material. The 3D Flex System Evo™ rotation with shaped ankle and external fold lines allows better traction control and perfect ankle mobility. The external, waterproof gaiter made of elastic Cordura® allows maximum waterproofness, while the inner Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane keeps sweat out but water in. Lacing with integrated, precise and fast BOA® Fit System. The midsole can be used with semi-automatic crampons in ice or snow. Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System studs for better adaptation to hard rock surfaces. Mountain climbing in perfect harmony.
