The Aequilibrium LT GTX is the mountaineering boot for alpine excursions with heavy loads, ideal for backpacking and multi-day high-altitude treks. Excellent downhill characteristics thanks to the innovative heel construction Double Heel™: the very pronounced geometry with dual heel construction improves braking characteristics when running downhill and allows smoother rolling behavior to spare the muscles. Durability and lightness harmonize perfectly thanks to the new sole/midsole unit with external shell construction Rubber Guard™ and foam inside for more cushioning and lightness through fewer rubber layers. The form is ergonomics: enveloping and precise, with integrated TPU shells at shoe tip and heel and for reinforcement of the upper material. The 3D Flex System Evo™ rotation with shaped ankle and abrasion-resistant protection allows for better traction control and perfect ankle mobility. The midsole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System studs provides better adaptation to hard rock surfaces.
