Explore 4 is a robust, fully waterproof headlamp and a perfect companion for outdoor activities on land and water. It features three different colored LED lights and runs on 3xAAA batteries (not included), which provide you with long run time. IMPORTANT LIGHT FEATURES
Do you love outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, mountaineering, kayaking or sailing? Explore 4 has three different colored LED lights: white, red and orange. White light is the standard light for outdoor activities and everyday use. Red light helps preserve your night vision and is perfect for staying in mountain huts, hunting, etc. Orange light is optimal for map reading and allows you to see red contour lines when navigating on water

Explore has 400 lumens and three light settings including a Super-Low mode (10 lumens). This light setting gives you even longer run time and is perfect for reading, close-range work and when you want to save the battery. If you want a cozy tent light or boat light, just stick the headlamp in the included storage bag and enjoy the coziness. Wherever your next adventure takes you and whatever you want to do, Explore 4 is ready to explore it with you

Should an accident occur, the Explore headlamps have a built-in SOS flashing mode. This is an international Morse code distress signal that was originally designed for use at sea. Today this is the international rescue signal for getting help
 

WATERPROOF AND FLEXIBLE
The Explore headlamps are designed for adventures – on land as well as on water. The headlamps are 100% waterproof (IPX7), which means they can be submerged up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes. This means you still have a reliable light source if the headlamp happens to fall in the water

With the included helmet/belt clip, you can remove the headlamp unit from the headband and attach it to a helmet, belt or your backpack

Choose Explore 4 if you prefer a headlamp powered by alkaline batteries that you can change during longer adventures, or choose Explore 4RC if you prefer the convenience of rechargeable batteries

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
