At particularly stressed areas such as forearms and hips, robust inserts made of MERINO SHIELD TEC protect against abrasion from sharp rock and the climbing harness. The cut with expanded armpit area provides plenty of freedom of movement even on long reaches.

The fine channel structure on the inside of the elastic MERINO FLEECE RIB material provides pleasant ventilation while showing high insulation capabilities. Additionally, the soft merino wool on the skin regulates moisture and temperature as well as inhibits odor.

With the 2-way front zipper, the hoodie can be quickly and comfortably put on over the climbing harness. The pre-adjusted hood reliably protects from wind while fitting well under a helmet.

• MERINO SHIELD TEC: merino wool on the skin, high abrasion resistance (> 50,000 abrasion cycles in Martindale test), wind-resistant, 4-way stretch material, lightweight and quick-drying

• MAIN MATERIAL 2: 74% polyamide + 15% wool (OWP-MERINO) + 11% elastane
