BBB Cycling SmartLink II BCH-09 Kettenverschluss

The BBB Cycling SmartLink II BCH-09 closes a compatible BBB 9-speed chain. This replacement link joins the open chain ends using two matching connector halves. It provides the connection needed when fitting a chain or replacing the existing closing link.

Model number BCH-09 identifies the version for BBB 9-speed chains. Compare the information on your chain with this specification before choosing the connector. If you carry a spare in your tool bag, the model number helps you keep the appropriate replacement ready for that chain. The manufacturer-stated weight is 3 g.

Connect and inspect

To connect the chain, insert the two connector halves at the chain ends and bring them together. Closing the link draws the pins into the narrow end positions of the openings. BBB names the BTL-77 LinkFix or BTL-213 Re-link for opening and closing the connector. After fitting, check that the link is fully closed and can articulate freely.
