DPS Ski Pisteworks 79 + Platte + Bindung XVST 2025/26
Goes with it
Description
Unlike conventional carving skis made of metal or fiberglass, the Pisteworks 79 uses aerospace-quality carbon technology and a proprietary carbon laminate to deliver unmatched stability, agility, and responsiveness. The most striking difference from classic carving skis on snow is that the ski's exciting energy is generated not by high stiffness but by a compliant flex profile that uses highly energetic carbon for dynamic control.
Using advanced energy and vibration analysis, DPS has tuned its power and feel to adapt seamlessly whether carving high-G-force turns or making dynamic direction changes. The Pisteworks 79 ushers in a new era of carving performance, delivering precision and power with a ride feel as dynamic as the skier riding it.
We recommend this ski with the DPS XVST binding and plate system.
A versatile high-performance carver. A shorter size unleashes the explosive power of aerospace carbon and the G-force acceleration across the fall line. A longer size enables stable, fast turns with larger radius.
FEATURES
Two complete layers of multidirectional carbon fiber achieve a level of strength, stability, and responsiveness that metal or fiberglass skis cannot match. This innovative construction ensures precise power transfer for effortless edge transitions and reliable performance, even on icy slopes or at high speeds. DPS's proprietary carbon layering process improves torsional stiffness and ensures a ski that remains lively and responsive season after season. (And we back this up with a lifetime warranty).
The Carbon Power Plate made of recycled Fairmat® carbon fiber provides improved power transmission from the binding and helps direct energy from the binding to the ski.
DPS's multidirectional wood core ensures even weight distribution and a stable, confident ride on snow.
The structured polyamide surface prevents delamination and scratches, so your skis stay clean and beautiful throughout their lifespan.
The integrated full-wrap sidewall improves damage resistance and allows us to optimize edge feel.
Rockwell 48 steel edges provide the ideal metal hardness for all conditions.
The 4000 World Cup series race bases provide a longer-lasting running surface and enable higher speeds on snow.
Handcrafted in the USA by our local artisans in our factory in Salt Lake City, Utah.
All skis are coated with PHANTOM Glide.
